DIMOCO Acquires Greek Mobile Company Amaze

BRUNN AM GEBIRGE, Austria — DIMOCO has acquired Greek carrier billing and mobile messaging company Amaze.

The company said all client contracts of the aggregator business of Amaze would be transferred to DIMOCO and the technical migration to DIMOCO’s infrastructure of customers and the direct connections to the mobile network operators will follow soon.

Lily Xenou (pictured), the former aggregation director at Amaze, has been appointed managing director of DIMOCO Greece, where the new business will be headquartered.

“DIMOCO is the leading player in the carrier billing and mobile messaging market in Europe. I am very proud to be part of this international group managing the Greek business and its expansion into new markets,” Xenou said.

DIMOCO CEO Gerald Tauchner added, “Now with Greece under our wings we strictly follow our expansion strategy to become Europe’s number one. Building on Amaze’s excellent business relations, DIMOCO Greece will offer our international customer base an additional marketing opportunity.”

Amaze provided value added services on the mobile, voice and web channel and has developed a carrier-grade infrastructure based on an SMS gateway and on carrier billing, DIMOCO explained.

The former aggregator team of Amaze will remain as the prime contact for merchants and mobile network operators.

DIMOCO said with her 15 years of working experience, Xenou is an expert in the mobile communication market. Before she joined Amaze as aggregation director, she was country manager in Greece of WIN, an IMImobile company.
